About Dr. Michelle Binkowski
Meet Dr. Binkowski,
DC, CMUA, CIME
Las Vegas chiropractic physician. Veteran-friendly and operated. 30+ years of getting people out of pain and back in action.

Why I Do This Work
Hi. I'm Dr. Michelle Binkowski, and I've been a chiropractic physician for over 30 years. So if you came here trying to figure out whether I'm the right person to help you with what's going on in your body, I want to tell you upfront what I believe.
Every patient who walks into Back in Action Chiropractic is dealing with something that's stealing time, energy, or joy from their life. Pain that won't quit. An old injury that never healed right. Headaches that won't go away. A body that just doesn't feel like theirs anymore. So my job, our job, is to get to the root of what's going on, correct it, and give them that part of their life back.
That's not a marketing line. That's the lens I run my practice through every single day. Chiropractic is a healing profession, and when it's done right, it transforms people's lives.
How I Got Here
I grew up in Buffalo, New York and earned a Bachelor of Science from the School of Engineering at SUNY Buffalo. So engineering was actually my first language: load paths, force vectors, how systems hold together under stress. That training still shapes how I assess a body today. It's the same kind of thinking, just applied to a human frame instead of a steel one.
I went on to earn my Doctorate of Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Science, formerly known as Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, and I graduated in 1989. After graduation, I stayed on as an Associate Professor, teaching the next generation of chiropractic physicians. So a big part of how I practice today comes from years of having to explain biomechanics, neurology, and treatment reasoning to students. If you can teach it, you understand it.
I became a chiropractic patient before I ever became a chiropractic physician. I've been an athlete my whole life, and after a few injuries, I sought chiropractic care, which really helped me heal and get back into the game. That experience became my philosophy as a doctor: treat patients so they get back in action as quickly as possible.
For most of my career, I've worked with professional athletes: Navy SEALs, the Buffalo Sabres, the San Diego Padres, the Toronto Blue Jays, World's Strongest Man competitors, professional skateboarders, boxers, PGA and LPGA golfers, and MMA and UFC fighters. The list goes on. I absolutely love what I do, helping people get out of pain, restoring normal function, and finally letting their bodies heal.
I opened Back in Action Chiropractic in Las Vegas in the spring of 2024. So while the practice itself is new, the experience behind it is decades deep.
Outside of clinical practice, my husband and I have been serving in the Coast Guard Auxiliary since 2015. We're also an integral part of the Veterans Parade right here in Las Vegas, which is considered the second-largest veterans parade in the nation. So when I say this is a veteran-friendly practice, I mean it from a place of personal service, not marketing.

What Those Letters After My Name Actually Mean
DC, Doctor of Chiropractic
The clinical doctorate that licenses me to practice as a chiropractic physician in Nevada. Four years of graduate-level training after pre-med undergrad, with clinical rotations and national board exams. Same rigor as any other medical doctorate, focused on the spine, joints, anatomy, physiology, the nervous system, and the body as a united whole.
CMUA, Certified Manipulation Under Anesthesia
A very specific advanced credential held by very few chiropractic physicians. CMUA training is built around performing chiropractic manipulations while the patient is under anesthesia, the right approach for certain complex cases. I'm also an instructor for this procedure, teaching other licensed doctors how to perform it safely and effectively.
CIME, Certified Independent Medical Examiner
The credential that lets me perform independent medical examinations. So if you're a veteran filing a VA disability claim, or if you've been in a car accident and your attorney needs a clinical opinion documented properly, this is the credential that makes that work defensible in front of a VA rating board, a court, or a claims adjuster. It also qualifies me to perform Permanent Partial Disability ratings for Workers' Compensation cases.
How We Treat People at Back in Action
Did you know that three patients can walk in with the exact same complaint, say low back pain, and have completely different things causing it? One has a posture issue from sitting at a desk all day. One has a foot strike pattern pulling their pelvis out of alignment. One had a car accident eight years ago that never healed right. So treatment has to be customized for the exact problem. It all starts with assessment.
That's how every visit begins here. We sit down. I listen. I take a full health history, run a 3D digital foot and posture scan, watch how you move, watch how you stand, look at where you're holding tension, and figure out where the pain is actually coming from. Then I walk you through what I'm seeing and what your options are. No pressure, no rushed adjustments, no quick fixes that don't last.
Once we have a plan, we use whatever combination of tools fits your situation. Hands-on adjustments. Cold laser therapy. Rehabilitation and movement analysis. Custom orthotics from our 3D digital foot scan. Medical massage. BrainTap for stress, sleep, and recovery. Ultrasound and H-wave therapy for pain relief and reducing muscle tension. The protocol changes patient to patient. The goal doesn't.
We're going to get you back in action.
Who Walks Through Our Door
Las Vegas is a unique town, and I see that in my patient list every single week. We're a healing practice for:
Veterans and military families
I'm a Certified Independent Medical Examiner, and I work with veterans on VA disability claims and the chronic injuries that come with service. Military families are always welcome here, and we treat that as an honor, not a transaction.
Athletes and weekend warriors
Professional athletes, fighters, performers, triathletes, martial artists, and golfers. Plus weekend warriors who push their bodies hard and need someone who understands sports performance, recovery, and injury rehab. We were named Best of Las Vegas for Sports Medicine in 2025 for a reason.
Auto-accident survivors
We see same-day appointments after a car accident. We customize treatment and document your injuries properly for insurance and personal-injury cases, including PIP coverage. We work with attorneys, claims adjusters, and your medical team to keep your care moving forward.
Casino and Culinary workers
We're a Culinary Insurance provider, one of the few chiropractic clinics in town that accepts it. So from nagging neck pain to sciatica, we can help it all.
Families
Pregnant and postpartum patients. Children. Anyone with a body that's hurting and is looking for real relief so they can get their life back.
If you're not sure you fit into one of these categories, that's okay. If you're hurting, come to Back in Action Chiropractic and we'll perform an assessment and look at the whole picture together.

The Team
I'm not doing this alone. Behind every great patient outcome is a team that handles the rest of the experience so I can focus on the clinical work.
Shyanne, Licensed Chiropractic Assistant
Shyanne is who you'll meet at the front desk, who'll guide you through your first visit, and who keeps this office running. Most patients get to know her before they get to know me, and they tell me she's the reason they came back. She's been with the practice essentially since we opened the doors in spring 2024.
Licensed Massage Therapist
Our licensed massage therapist delivers the medical massage portion of your treatment plan. This isn't a spa add-on. It's targeted, therapeutic, and built into your care plan to support what we're doing on the adjusting side.
Visit Our Office
We're located near Summerlin at 5552 S. Fort Apache Rd, Suite 110, Las Vegas, NV 89148. We're easy to get to from most of the Strip, Summerlin, southwest Las Vegas, and out to Lake Las Vegas. Easy parking, friendly staff, and we'll get you in fast.
The office vibe is concierge. We're a chiropractic practice, but we're not stiff or sterile. You're going to feel listened to. You're going to feel like a person, not a chart number. And you're going to leave with a plan that actually makes sense.
