What to Expect on Your First Visit
So if this is your first time seeing a chiropractor, or your first time at Back in Action Chiropractic, here's what your visit looks like.
Plan for about an hour
Your first visit is longer than a follow-up because we take a full health history, talk through what's going on, watch how you move, and assess your spine, joints, and posture before any treatment.
Bring your insurance card
Even if we've already verified your benefits over the phone, having it with you in person speeds things up. If you're a Culinary Insurance member, an auto-accident patient, or a workers' comp case, bring any related paperwork (police report, claim number, attorney info, etc.).
Wear comfortable clothing
Not your gym clothes, but nothing too restrictive. We need to be able to watch how you move, and you need to be able to move freely.
Come hydrated and have eaten
Adjustments work better on a body that isn't running on empty. So if you're coming straight from work or after a long stretch without food, grab something light beforehand.
Don't worry about questions
You're going to have plenty, and we're going to leave time for them. We'll walk you through what we're seeing, what we recommend, what it'll cost, and what your timeline looks like before any decisions get made.
Insurance
We're a Culinary Insurance provider, one of the few chiropractic clinics in Las Vegas that accepts it. We also handle auto-accident claims (including PIP coverage) and DOL workers' comp cases. For other insurance situations, call us before your first appointment and we'll verify your specific benefits so there are no surprises.
For patients without one of those coverage types, we offer transparent cash pricing and wellness packages. So whether you're paying out of pocket or filing a claim, we'll let you know exactly what your visit will cost before you book.
Common Questions About Booking & Visiting
How quickly can I get an appointment?
We typically have same-week availability for new patients, and same-day appointments for urgent situations like auto-accident injuries. Call us at 702-970-4325 and we'll find you a slot that fits.
Do you take walk-ins?
We prefer scheduled appointments so we can give you the time and attention your visit deserves. So if you're considering walking in, call first. We can almost always get you in the same day, but a five-minute call ahead saves you waiting around.
Do I need a referral to see Dr. Binkowski?
No. Nevada is a direct-access state for chiropractic care, which means you can book directly with us without going through your primary care physician first.
What if I have questions before I book?
Call us at 702-970-4325 or use the contact form. We answer questions about insurance, treatment approach, what to expect, and whether we're the right fit for your situation, all before you commit to booking. No pressure.
How do I know if I'm in your service area?
If you're in Las Vegas, Henderson, Spring Valley, Summerlin, southwest Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, or Lake Las Vegas, we're an easy drive. We've got patients commuting in from across the valley. So if you can get to 5552 S. Fort Apache Rd, you're in our service area.
Do you respond to messages on weekends?
The office is closed Saturday and Sunday, so weekend messages get returned first thing Monday morning. So if your situation is urgent and it's the weekend, call the office number and follow the prompt for guidance.
Is parking easy?
Yes. The office is in a multi-tenant business plaza with free parking right outside the suite. So you won't have to circle, and there are no garages or meters.
Let's Get You Back in Action
You don't need a referral. You don't need to figure out which service you need. You just need to call, text, email, or fill out the form, and we'll take it from there.
