Root-Cause Approach

Pain Relief & Pain Management

Pain is a signal, not the problem. So our pain relief approach is built around finding the root cause and correcting it, not chasing the symptom with stronger and stronger interventions.

How Pain Relief Works at Back in Action

Most pain clinics treat pain as the enemy — block the signal, mask it, manage it. The problem with that approach is that the underlying issue keeps causing damage. Pain comes back stronger, treatments get more aggressive, and patients end up dependent on interventions that never solved the actual problem.

We take a different approach. The first visit is a thorough assessment to find where your pain is actually coming from. Sometimes it's the obvious place. Often it's not. A patient with chronic low back pain might actually have a foot mechanic issue pulling their pelvis out of alignment. A patient with shoulder pain might be dealing with a cervical spine compression issue feeding nerves to the shoulder.

Once we know the source, we build a plan that combines chiropractic adjustments, cold laser therapy, medical massage, and targeted rehabilitation. The goal is permanent resolution, not endless pain management.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you prescribe pain medication?

No. We're a chiropractic practice focused on non-pharmaceutical pain relief. Adjustments, cold laser, medical massage, and rehabilitation address the underlying cause without the side effects or dependency risk of medication.

How long until I feel relief?

Most patients feel improvement within the first 2 to 3 visits. Full resolution depends on the condition and how long it's been going on. We'll give you a realistic timeline after the first assessment.

Can chiropractic care replace my current pain meds?

Many of our patients are able to reduce or eliminate pain medication once we address the root cause. Always coordinate with your prescribing physician before changing any medication. We're happy to send treatment notes to your other doctors.
